Founded in 1925 in Erie, Pennsylvania, Erie Plating Company began operations at its original facility on West 12th Street, a building constructed that same year and expanded over time to support the company's growth. From those humble beginnings, through the Great Depression, Worl War II, and decades of technological advancement, Erie Plating Company has remained a pioneer in the metal finishing industry.
As the company evolved, so did its capabilities. The latter half of the 20th century brought major innovations, including the introduction of automated plating system in the 1980's and the digitization of information system in the 1990's to enhance efficiency and traceability. In more recent decades, we've made significant investments in environmental responsibility and protection, ensuring sustainable operations while meeting the highest industry and regulatory standards.
